A new hub for contemporary art is set to rise at Circuit Makati, envisioned as a vibrant cultural anchor managed by Ayala Foundation, the same institution behind the Ayala Museum and Filipinas Heritage Library.

Planned as a dynamic and thought-provoking space, the center seeks to celebrate visual art in all its forms while strengthening Circuit Makati’s identity

as a cultural and creative destination. It will join the Samsung Performing Arts Theater and the Power Mac Center Spotlight Black Box Theatre, further expanding the district’s reputation as a creative hub.

Ayala Foundation chair Fernando Zobel de Ayala described the project as “an experimental platform where artists can explore innovative concepts in response to the changing world,” adding that the space aims to spark curiosity and ignite passion for new ideas.

The timing of the announcement is symbolic, coinciding with the Ayala Museum’s 50th anniversary and Ayala Corporation’s 190th year. Strategically located by the scenic Pasig River, the center will not only enrich Makati’s creative district but also contribute to the national government’s 25-kilometer Pasig River esplanade initiative.

The building’s design highlights sustainability and future-ready solutions, reflecting Makati’s commitment to environmental responsibility amid climate challenges.

Designed for all ages, the center will embrace a wide spectrum of creativity—from traditional visual arts to immersive installations, digital works, performances, films, and interactive experiences—positioning itself as a beacon of contemporary artistic expression in the country.
